DETROIT — 10/2/2026

The Detroit Harvest Fest opens Saturday, Oct. 3, at Ralph C. Wilson Jr. Centennial Park, the Downtown Detroit Treat n' Peek fills Cadillac Square Sunday, Oct. 4, and Johnny Blue Skies & the Dark Clouds play Little Caesars Arena Saturday, Oct. 10, the day Beacon Park's Cider in the City opens. Listings disagree on the dates of eight shows; each is given with both dates. No civic meeting appears in Detroit's own events feed this week. The week's news and school sports run in separate editions.


What's Happening in Detroit

Friday, October 2

The Red Wings host the Rangers at Little Caesars Arena at 6:30 p.m. Taste of Chaos plays the Fillmore Detroit, doors 4 p.m., all ages. Naomi Sharon brings her No Sleep in Paradise Tour to Saint Andrew's Hall at 7 p.m., and Spare Parts plays Cliff Bell's at 7:30 p.m.

An Allevents listing gives Phoebe Bridgers at Little Caesars Arena tonight, with no opener named; Ticketmaster and a second Allevents listing, naming Alex G as the opener, give the show Saturday, Oct. 3. Neither date is resolved here.

Saturday, October 3

The Detroit Harvest Fest runs at Ralph C. Wilson Jr. Centennial Park. Its Allevents listing gives Oct. 3 only; the event's own flyer, carrying the Detroit Riverfront Conservancy's logo, gives Oct. 3 and 4, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Phoebe Bridgers' Lost Tour plays Little Caesars Arena at 7:30 p.m. (see Friday, Oct. 2), and the Sex Pistols, featuring Frank Carter, play the Fillmore Detroit, doors 7 p.m., all ages. Mrs Doubtfire plays the Fox Theatre at 1:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Prost in the D, an Oktoberfest bar crawl, starts at The Social Brews. An Allevents listing gives Two Door Cinema Club at the Fillmore tonight; Ticketmaster gives Sunday, Oct. 4.

Sunday, October 4

The Downtown Detroit Treat n' Peek, curated by the Downtown Detroit Partnership and sponsored by Lake Michigan Credit Union, runs 1-5 p.m. at Cadillac Square, per its flyer. The Red Wings host the Winnipeg Jets at Little Caesars Arena at 1 p.m., and Comerica Park is listed for the Tigers' ALDS Home Game 1, opponent to be determined. Two Door Cinema Club's Tourist History 15th Anniversary Tour plays the Fillmore at 7 p.m., all ages (see Saturday, Oct. 3), and Mark Farner's American Band plays the Sound Board at MotorCity Casino Hotel at 7:30 p.m.

Monday, October 5

The Pistons play a preseason game against the Phoenix Suns at Little Caesars Arena at 7 p.m. Dan and Phil play the Fisher Theatre at 7:30 p.m., and Bright Eyes plays the Majestic Theatre.

Tuesday, October 6

The Red Wings host the Ottawa Senators at Little Caesars Arena at 7 p.m. Neil deGrasse Tyson presents An Astrophysicist Goes to the Movies, Part II at the Fillmore at 7:30 p.m. Gregory Alan Isakov plays the Masonic Temple and Outlander in Concert plays the Fisher Theatre, both at 7 p.m.

Wednesday, October 7 – Thursday, October 8

Gorillaz' The Mountain Tour, with Little Simz and Deltron 3030, plays Little Caesars Arena Wednesday, Oct. 7, at 7 p.m., per Ticketmaster; the same Allevents listing also appears under Tuesday, Oct. 6.

Three more shows carry two dates. The Rocky Horror Picture Show, featuring Nell Campbell, plays the Fisher Theatre Wednesday, Oct. 7, per Allevents, or Thursday, Oct. 8, at 7 p.m., per Ticketmaster. Switchfoot and Anberlin's Forever Now Tour plays the Fillmore Wednesday, Oct. 7, per Allevents, or Thursday, Oct. 8, at 7 p.m., all ages, per Ticketmaster. Undertale Live: The Determination Symphony plays the Fox Theatre Thursday, Oct. 8, per Allevents, or Friday, Oct. 9, at 8 p.m., per Ticketmaster. None is resolved here.

Friday, October 9

The Red Wings host the Seattle Kraken at Little Caesars Arena at 7 p.m. Interpol, with DIIV, plays the Masonic Temple's Jack White Theatre, and The Thorn plays the Fox Theatre at 7 p.m.

Chris Tucker plays the Sound Board at MotorCity Casino Hotel at 8 p.m.; the feed lists the same Ticketmaster link, dated Oct. 9, under both Friday, Oct. 9, and Saturday, Oct. 10. Art Garfunkel appears at the Fisher Theatre Friday, Oct. 9, per one Allevents listing, or Saturday, Oct. 10, per another. Neither is resolved here.

Saturday, October 10

Johnny Blue Skies & the Dark Clouds bring the Mutiny for the Masses Tour to Little Caesars Arena at 8 p.m. Beacon Park's Cider in the City opens, running 1-5 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays, Oct. 10-11 and 17-18, per its flyer. The Voice of Whitney Houston: A Symphonic Celebration, setting Houston's recorded vocals to the Detroit Opera Orchestra, plays the Detroit Opera House at 8 p.m. The Thorn plays the Fox Theatre at 1 p.m., and Pinhead Gunpowder plays Saint Andrew's Hall at 7 p.m.

Friday, Oct. 2 — the Metro Detroit Women's Expo runs at Macomb Community College's Sports and Expo Center in Warren. Saturday, Oct. 3 — Dan + Shay play Pine Knob Music Theatre at 7 p.m., and the American Speed Festival runs at 1 Concourse Drive in Pontiac. Sunday, Oct. 4 — the Children's Dyslexia Center's 5K Run to Read starts at Ford Field Park.

Friday, Oct. 9 — the 80th Greater Detroit Gem, Mineral & Fossil Show runs at 14500 E. 12 Mile Road in Warren. Saturday, Oct. 10 — the Lumbre Festival runs at M1 Concourse in Pontiac.
