Friday, September 25

The District 5 Tenants' Rights Commission holds a public meeting 4-6 p.m. at the Coleman Young Community Center, 2751 Robert Bradby Drive, with a Zoom option, an ASL interpreter and light refreshments. St. Joseph Shrine holds its Oktoberfest. The Tigers host the Pirates at Comerica Park at 6:40 p.m., World Ballet Company's Swan Lake plays Music Hall Center at 7 p.m., and the Cash Money & No Limit Tour plays Little Caesars Arena at 8 p.m.

The Detroit Symphony Orchestra's Opening Night Gala is listed on Allevents both Friday, Sept. 25, as the Opening Night Gala Concert, and Saturday, Sept. 26, as “Joshua Bell Plays Lalo.” Neither date is resolved here.

Saturday, September 26

The Six Mile Street Fest runs at the Live6 Alliance Neighborhood HomeBase. The free 6th Annual Detroit Black College Expo is listed at Huntington Place, but the expo's own flyer says it has moved to the Light Guard Armory; neither location is resolved here. The Detroit Totally Rad Vintage Fest runs at Huntington Place. Robert C. Valade Park holds a free LittleGuide Stroller Roll, and Greektown (The Well) and Corktown (Corktown Tavern) each hold an Oktoberfest. The Parkman Branch Library holds a Porch Party noon to 4 p.m., and the Detroit Freak Parade gathers at the Packard Art Collective, 7032 E. Ferry Street.

The Tigers and Pirates play at 1:10 p.m. Ravyn Lenae plays the Masonic Temple at 7 p.m., The Coney opens a two-night run at the Detroit Opera House at 8 p.m., and the Cash Money & No Limit Tour plays its second night at Little Caesars Arena.

Sunday, September 27

The Lions host the Jets at Ford Field at 1 p.m., and the Tigers and Pirates play again at 3:10 p.m. Dakota Inn holds Wine-toberfest, The Drexciyan Empire Immersive Experience and Artist Q&A runs at 918 W. Boston Boulevard, and Mo Amer plays The Comedy Bar. The Coney plays its second night at 8 p.m.

Ticketmaster lists Squeeze at the Masonic Temple Sunday, Sept. 27, at 6 p.m.; an Allevents listing, with Adam Ant and Haircut 100, places the show Saturday, Sept. 26. Neither date is resolved here.

Lambrini Girls play the Majestic Theatre Monday, Sept. 28. Ticketmaster lists Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals at Saint Andrew's Hall Monday, Sept. 28, at 7 p.m.; Allevents lists the show Sunday, Sept. 27. Neither date is resolved here.

The HLAtino Summit 2026, a Hispanic Heritage Month celebration, runs at 3564 Vernor Highway, and the UniverSoul Circus plays the Aretha Franklin Amphitheatre. The Detroit Harvest Fest runs at Ralph C. Wilson Jr. Centennial Park, and Prost in the D, an Oktoberfest bar crawl, starts at The Social Brews. Mrs Doubtfire plays the Fox Theatre at 1:30 and 7:30 p.m. The Sex Pistols, featuring Frank Carter, play the Fillmore Detroit (doors 7 p.m., show 8 p.m.), a date rescheduled from Oct. 4, 2025.

Ticketmaster lists Phoebe Bridgers' Lost Tour at Little Caesars Arena Saturday, Oct. 3, at 7:30 p.m.; Allevents lists the show both Friday, Oct. 2, and Saturday, Oct. 3. Neither date is resolved here. Ticketmaster's listing says the show is phone-free.
