East Michigan Environmental Action Council

East Michigan Environmental Action Council (EMEAC) is a Detroit-based environmental and climate justice organization that stewards The Commons, a Cass Corridor space for political organizing, art production, and community programming. Its initiatives include the Detroit Movement Center, which offers yoga, dance, and other healing-focused practices, and the Social Ecologies Project, which builds leadership for environmental and economic justice.
