The Penobscot is a historic Art Deco skyscraper in downtown Detroit, opened in 1929 and designed by architect Wirt C. Rowland of Smith Hinchman & Grylls. It rises 30 stories with a distinctive red neon beacon tower and Native American-themed ornamentation, and is managed today by Triple Properties Detroit.
