Farwell Recreation Center
Farwell Recreation Center is a City of Detroit Parks & Recreation community center offering a weight room, gymnasium, arts & crafts room, dance studio, kitchen, and rentable meeting space, with membership required to participate in programs and classes. The center recently added a new $4 million gymnasium after two decades of resident advocacy for the amenity.
Fine Arts Society of Detroit
The Fine Arts Society of Detroit (FASD) is a membership club established in 1906 that brings together professional and amateur lovers of the arts, particularly theatre, producing plays and hosting social gatherings and outings around metro Detroit. Its early members helped found the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, and it is believed to be the oldest continuously operating group of its kind in the country.
Fisher Building
Known as "Detroit's Largest Art Object," the lobby features intricate gold leaf, marble, and fresco ceilings designed by Albert Kahn. It is open to the public daily.
